AntwortenLöschenMy photo is actually our daughter Allegra, got home on New Year's Day 1989, the 3rd day after birth. Mom has the look of amazement and love at this new person who wasn't here 1 week before. The look of awe is what impresses us...I am way older than this baby :)

Oh my goodness, I would be running the opposite direction, not taking a picture. Stinging bugs and I don't get along real well. I am a big scaredy cat.

We had a yellow jacket next that size right outside our kitchen door. I went on the internet trying to identify it and find out whether they were pollinators and how to safely get rid of it. It continued growing larger and larger and then a couple of us got bitten. I imagined all sorts of schemes to knock it down after dark when they were asleep without getting stung came home one day to find that someone had unceremoniously taken it out with a broom stick.
